Crafting Your Future: Build an Impactful Resume
The Challenge:
Transitioning young adults sometimes face significant barriers when entering the workforce due to a lack of foundational knowledge for writing their resumes. The challenge was to transform this complex, multi-step process, writing a resume, into an accessible, learning-experience that builds confidence and practical skills.

The Solution:
I developed a structured, multi-modal learning experience that breaks down resume writing into manageable, actionable steps. Using a mix of instructional videos, annotated examples, and a guided development process, the course empowers learners to translate their personal experiences into a professional format that makes them ready to apply for a job.
Design Highlights:
- Scaffolded Instruction: Break the resume down into sections (Header, Experience, Skills, etc.); this allows learners to master one part at a time. Downloadable templates are provided in the course.
- Visual Modeling: Provides resume template and introduces style options to demonstrate strong action verbs and professional formatting.
